Why subscribe?

Cento is a publication designed to deepen and expand the conversation around creativity and mindset. It features essays, journalism, and interviews with artists, coaches, executives, and others speaking to their unique insight, process, psychology, and discovery.

It’s always evolving, but a metaphor might be How I Built This but for the inner world. Subscribe because you like to learn from others’ stories and are curious about mindsets, motivations, obsessions, and dreams.

“Your writing is insightful and practical, which has an immediate impact for me. I find the topics to be personally relatable and similar to topics that often surface with the clients I coach and serve.”

“You have a great writing style—love love love.”

What does “cento” mean?

“Cento” comes from the Latin word for “patchwork.” As a poetic form, a cento, or collage poem, is composed entirely of lines from poems by other poets. Here, I’m using it as a metaphor representing how people build knowledge and skills—by stitching together wisdom, insight, and learning from each other.

Would love to have you as a subscriber.

Who is this for?

Artists, writers, filmmakers, poets, and directors seeking fresh perspectives, new voices, and insight.

For those who are considering pursuing a coaching training or certification, check out our interviews—each coach shares where they studied, how their coach training evolved into a career, or how they incorporate it into the workplace.

For those who are already coaches, I hope your experience will be similar to mine: I am deepening my thinking, and furthering my education as it relates to the work of diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging. As you likely know, coaching has a complicated reputation. However, many coaches are highly skilled, trained, and thoughtful people. They have also excelled as entrepreneurs, engineers, therapists, executives, researchers, and more. They are adding depth, breadth, and insight to the field, and I’m excited to showcase them.

“I support your work as I believe in the power of story weaving to unlearn, understand, and unite.”

“I loved what you shared on taking it one step at a time to ‘disconnect.’ Allowing myself to sit with the uncomfortable and be ok in that space.”
